Elyse holds a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Global Studies from Australian Catholic University.  Elyse joined the team at Sayer Jones in 2021 and was admitted as a lawyer in 2023.  She practices exclusively in Family Law.  

Elyse is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Victoria.  Elyse advises on all areas of Family Law with a particular interest in complex parenting matters.  Her experience prior to her admission has enhanced her understanding of Family Law litigation and the stresses associated with navigating separation.  In addition to her administrative and paralegal work at Sayer Jones, Elyse has volunteered at the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre and Brimbank Community Legal Centre as well been engaged in research projects.  She has experience working with clients from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.  She also completed an internship at Oxford Heartbeat, a neurovascular research and product development company in London where she honed her skills in contractual law.

Elyse is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Women Lawyers, and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.  In 2021, she was also a Young Lawyer’s Ambassador for the Law Institute of Victoria.
